About the Program

Empowering Young Minds for a Brighter Future Education is one of the most powerful instruments for social change and sustainable development. It not only enhances knowledge and skills but also empowers individuals to break the cycle of poverty, build self-confidence, and contribute meaningfully to society. However, for many children from economically disadvantaged backgrounds, access to quality education remains a significant challenge due to financial constraints, lack of educational resources, and limited academic support. Recognizing these challenges, IFIE implemented the Education Support Program with the objective of ensuring that every child, regardless of socio economic background, has access to the basic resources required for learning and academic growth. The programme was designed to reduce educational barriers, encourage school participation, and create an enabling environment where children can pursue their education with confidence and dignity.

Throughout FY 2025–26, the initiative focused on supporting students from underserved communities by providing educational kits, learning materials, and motivational support that helped them continue their academic journey without interruption. By addressing the immediate educational needs of students and reducing the financial burden on families, the programme contributed towards creating equal opportunities for learning and development.

Programme Objectives

The Education Support Program was implemented with the following objectives:

To promote equal access to education for children from economically weaker sections.
To reduce educational barriers caused by a lack of essential learning materials.
To encourage school enrollment, attendance, and retention.
To support students in developing confidence and motivation towards learning.

Programme Interventions

Distribution of Educational Kits

A key component of the programme involved the distribution of educational kits containing essential study materials required by students for daily learning activities. These kits were designed to support children in maintaining continuity in their education and improving classroom participation.

School Bags and Stationery Support

Many children from low-income households are unable to afford basic school supplies. To address this challenge, IFIE distributed school bags, notebooks, pens, pencils, erasers, geometry boxes, and other stationery items to students in need. This support helped ensure that children were adequately equipped for their academic activities.

Learning Material Assistance

The programme provided learning resources and educational materials that supported students in their academic progress. These resources helped improve learning readiness, classroom engagement, and overall academic performance. Student Motivation and Encouragement Activities Beyond material support, IFIE recognized the importance of motivation in a child’s educational journey.

Various engagement sessions were organized to inspire students, build confidence, and encourage them to pursue their educational aspirations with determination and enthusiasm.

Community Engagement and Educational Awareness
